DVD Producation—Michigan Education Association

Being the Multimedia Specialist at the Michigan Education Association, I have had the opportunity to co-create many multi-media and DVD productions. The two DVD sneek peeks below, that my collegues and I produced, won the 2007 Michgian Schools Public Relations Association (MSPRA) awards for video production. My contribution was in video editing, sound track production, motion graphics and DVD authoring. I also designed the packaging.

Closing the Achievement Gaps

This trailer gives a quick insight into the Closing the Achievement Gaps DVD. The full DVD is designed to encourage discussions in schools (among all personnel), churches, families and throughout communities around the different gaps in student achievement
.

ESP Life Stories
Take a sneek peek into the ESP Life Stories DVD which spotlights Educational Support Personnel and the jobs they do both in and out of schools. It was produced to educate schools and communities about the contributions these employees make to student achievement.

From simple video vignettes to full video galleries for feature stories, there are many videos I produced that are included on MEA's site, the MEAOnline Facebook page and MEAOnline's YouTube channel.

The Dropouts: One is Too Many video summary embedded here is one example.

Let me introduce you to PK Penguin. He was born in May of 2000 in Lansing, Michigan, Lansing Community College to be exact, as my brain child. I went back to school to learn about multimedia and birthed PK in 2-D class using Macromedia Director.
