Michigan Education Association Productions

While working at the Michigan Education Association (web site designed by me also) I have had the opportunity to co-create many multi-media and DVD productions. Two of the DVDs my collegues and I created won the MSPRA awards for video production. My contribution was in video editing, sound track production, motion graphics and DVD authoring. I also designed the packaging. Here is the sneek peek I created to advertise the Closing the Acheivement Gaps production. It gives you a flavor of what the content of the full DVD is all about.

Multimedia on theWeb

Check out the 2008 Human Rights Banquet recipients videos on Facebook. I particularly liked working on these presentations of the award winners. I met incredible people and heard their awesome stories of what they have done for human rights awareness and advocacy in education. We were proud to bring their stories to the attention of the educuation community.

 

Another vehicle for multi-media is the web. I created the intro to Allen Jewelry Design web site.

 

PK Penguin in Flying Lesson

Let me introduce you to PK Penguin. He was born in May of 2000 in Lansing, Michigan, Lansing Community College to be exact, as my brain child. I went back to school to learn about multi-media and birthed PK in 2-D class using Macromedia Director. Not sure how many are even still using that program as Flash seems to have taken over in many regards. Even so, the productions I've seen Director artists create convince me they are some pretty hard core programmers and awesome creators.
